Why I set up this Blog?

When I decided to go online, it wasn’t an easy decision. Blogging means taking position, putting online what some want private. It’s always not easy, informing and respecting other’s private life and saying the truth. But I wanted to share my life experience with friends, the whole world and generations to come. I’ve noticed that I gain too much buy talking with others. Why not putting all of those ideas in my small head on the net? Every one would have access to it and would be able to take what is interesting for him/her if any.

After 2 weeks since I lunched my blog, I now have readers from 37 countries and more are adding daily. Some are sending messages encouraging me but I want every thing to be public. As long as you are not writing to me about personal affairs, you better post it as a comment or write an article, I will put it online for you.

By the way, didn’t I say that RUGAMBA is offering free services of web hosting and web design to bloggers about Africa? write to daniel@rugamba.com for more info.

Hi Daniel. I don’t know if you want me top refer to you as Ir Daniel or not. I am going to refer tou as Daniel for now, until you tell me otherwise.
Today hs been an excellent day in that i found one of the best blogs. Did i say best? Yes, i did! It’s refreshing to find a blog that deals with my country in a non political way. Well, politicalis probably not the word to describe most of the bloggers who deal with Burundi. They suck coz they are partisan and are in it for some kind of gain(be it political or ethnico-political). I must say that I find myself agreing with you on most of the stuff you say. However, I think some of it is just for comedy value rather than analytical. But that is good too! A bit of humour is always cool.
Oh man, the stuff you write about Bono and Blair is so acurate… Saying so acurate is probably an exageration but I see where you are coming from. When it comes to ICT and internet and the whole computing business, i think you come accross as a fanatic. But who would blame you, after all, it is your profession. Where I disagree is when you say that internet usage in Bdi could generate massive revenues for the avarage Joe is somewhat flawed. Think about it, our economy is mostly “rudimentaire” to a point where it can not accommodate e-commerce. The laws and regulations are so flawed and insufficient that they can not protect the buyer or the seller. I hear you say, laws can be changed to accommodate anything. Ok, I agree. But it all come back to the government’s clarevoyance which it so fundementally lacks! when singing and football become the piorty of the highest office of our land, then there cannot be much hope!

Anyway, it is good to read you and may you carry on! I will certainly be visiting your blog more often.

All the best !
